Hi, I'm Melissa Hnosko. I'm a mother of three, a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Certified Postpartum Doula, and breastfeeding class instructor. In 2021 I founded what would become Lincoln Lactation, Lincoln's first (and only) option for insurance covered, in-home, breastfeeding help with an IBCLC. Since then, Lincoln Lactation has served more than 1,000 families, helping them meet their feeding goals.

Seeing the need for doula care alongside evidence-based feeding support, I co-founded Lincoln's only doula agency, Birth Plus, in 2025. Together with Joyce Dykema I seek to provide the highest level of doula support to Lincoln area families, while supporting a wide variety of birth and postpartum doulas.
